The Thomas Leiber Brand
I’m very excited to share my new branding—it’s something I’m really proud of!
Working with the experienced designer Jay van Schaik, we’ve created something that not only reflects my personality but also the wide range of projects I’m involved in and the many roles I juggle both in my business and personal life. Jay absolutely nailed it, and I’ll let him take it from here to explain how he brought my brand identity to life
The Logo
"I wanted to capture Thomas exactly as he is—someone full of energy, who lives and breathes innovation, and gets excited about the latest technology, yet still connects on a human level. The logo reflects Thomas’ greatest inspiration throughout his life and career, Nikola Tesla—the person who envisioned the electric car and the mobile phone when horses were still pulling carriages.
The sharp edges and diagonal lockup represent innovation and the path forward. On top of that, I wanted to add a personal touch, almost like a signature—something Thomas would proudly incorporate into his communication. It makes him an authority in his field, yet always approachable—just as he is." - Jay

"Thomas has an impressive academic and professional career, and his bold personality is full of positivity.
He’s outspoken and never afraid to share his opinions, but always with respect and honesty. He works incredibly hard but also values quality time with his friends and family. I wanted to capture this balance by choosing colors that breathe technology and innovation but with a bold, festive twist.
Thomas’s deep connection to the sea and the sun inspired me to complement this with colors that bring a playful, lighthearted contrast to his hard work."

"To reflect all the different roles Thomas has in his companies, as well as personally, we literally show this through typographic lockups.
This also helps communicate his core values: Resilience, Collaboration, and Trust."
