Stress-test your invention disclosure
A privacy-first AI coach, I developed together with IPGATE, that examines the four areas inventors most consistently under-describe: mechanism, embodiments, quantitative evidence, and differentiation. It runs entirely on your own machine, and your invention text never reaches me or IPGATE.
A Foundation Worth Getting Right
Early in my career, I learned something that changed how I approach every invention since: the idea is never the hard part. The hard part is the structure underneath it, knowing exactly where the inventive step sits, versus what's just obvious engineering around it. Get that clear from day one, and everything downstream gets stronger. Miss it, and you spend years patching holes that should never have been there.
I've filed close to 500 patents since. That number isn't the point. The discipline behind it is. Every one of them started with the same question: have I actually captured what makes this new, in a way that holds up?
Most innovators never get taught to ask that question early enough. An idea gets talked about at the wrong dinner, shown to the wrong investor, published a week too early, and the protection that should have been there simply isn't, because nobody stress-tested the disclosure before the moment that mattered.
That's why we built this tool. Not as a lawyer, and not as a replacement for one. It's the conversation you have with yourself. Fifteen minutes, your own machine, your own API key. We never see your invention. You come out the other side with a real score across eight dimensions, the gaps still open, and a draft of your disclosure in your own words.
We built this because we wish it had existed when we were starting out. Now it does.
How it works
Register and receive the tool. Tell us who you are, and we'll email you a one-time download link. The tool is a single self-contained file (~280 KB) that runs in any browser, offline.
Add your own API key. Obtain an Anthropic API key from console.anthropic.com. Your key stays in your browser; IPGATE never sees it.
Describe your invention, discuss it for 5–10 minutes, and receive your report. A candid strength score across eight dimensions, the specific gaps to close, a draft disclosure summary in your own words, and a disclosure-timing risk flag, all saved as a PDF.
Privacy by structure, not by promise
The tool runs locally in your browser. Your invention text passes only between your browser and Anthropic, authenticated with your own API key. No IPGATE server sits anywhere in that path, so we never receive your invention text and have nothing to store.
For trade-secret values, you can substitute placeholders such as [material X] or [parameter Y]. The assessment evaluates the structure of your disclosure rather than the underlying figures, so your score is unaffected.
What this tool is not
Not legal advice, and not a patentability assessment.
Not an engagement with IPGATE. Using it creates no attorney-client relationship.
Not a prior-art search. It does not check whether your invention already exists.
